Bring It!
A group project, during which we focused on learning how to collaborate, using Git & GitHub together and pair-programming a lot. It was also our first encounter with JavaScript frameworks, 3rd party REST APIs and writing proper tests.
We have created an application that helps people organising who will bring what to a party - food, drinks, charcoal for BBQ, etc.
My main contributions were the data models, maps and geocode, testing and I held the ‘git master’ role.
Technical challenges: AngularJS, Git branching/merging, maps, testing
For trying out the app, you can find a sample event with the key 802162 after registering.
Built with
Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, AngularJS, JWT, filePicker, Bulma, SCSS, Balsamiq, Trello, WebAPIs (google maps, geocoding, filestack)
